Lytham Windmill at Night
Little did I know how difficult this would prove to be. Take one brightly-lit Windmill, painted white. Everywhere else – pretty much dark. My camera did not really cope with the range, and I could not work out how to compensate for that. In the end, I decided it worked better as a black and white image. More practice required.
Clearly the contrast (at night) between the brightly lit windmill and everything else presented a challenge, both from a photographic viewpoint, and with regards to the camera sensor. I’ll need to work out how I can improve on that. The great thing about digital photography though – you can just get out there and try something different.
