Well, there’s a lesson. Today was a cold, cloudy day, overcast and dull, with a biting wind and the threat of snow. I shouldered my rucksack (full with camera gear) rather more in hope than expectation, as the light was so poor. I was not confident I would find anything worth Photographing. Turns out I was wrong.
The path I took lead me through a farm, where the owner keeps a fine herd of deer, mostly Red, but a few Fallow deer. This is a Red Deer stag, four years old, already with a magnificent set of antlers (which will only get better I am told). I’ll post the Fallow Deer buck tomorrow.
