There are days when you set up to take a photograph, but then something entirely unexpected comes into frame. This was one of those days. I had set up to do a nice colour image of the charming little Cotswolds village of Stanton, when a number of these old cars appeared in shot. The temptation was too much – and I knew straight away that the end product was going to be an old-time sepia image. There’s really nothing in that image that would tell you it was taken in 2013, as far as I can see.
