St Bartholemew’s church sits on the top of Churchdown Hill, on the site of an earlier Iron age settlement. It has a commanding position and is visible for miles around. On a day that threatened, and delivered, rain, the church stands out against the grey clouds.
Getting this photo was a bit tricky – I had to stand in the middle of a road to avoid having a road sign completely detract from the image. Health and Safety would have kittens!
