The Purton Hulks – IV


The path winds it’s way past the various remains. Some of the bits of wood you see sticking up are quite clearly recognisable as part of a vessel, but I’m afraid I neglected to note the name of this one.

I was walking along and the low sun suddenly appeared from a bank of cloud, giving a strong, warm sidelight effect, so I rushed to set up my tripod in order to capture the colours. Right time, right place.
