About 30 minutes after sunset and the light is starting to fade. Within 20 minutes of taking this HDR set, it was very dark and I was taking images where the shutter had to be open for 30 seconds or more.
The tide is ebbing in the Severn estuary and the sandbanks are beginning to appear. The Purton Hulks are located on the riverbank you can see in the distance on the right.
They don’t call it ‘The Blue Hour’ for nothing!
