Burnham Lower Lighthouse at Sunset

Burnham Lower Lighthouse at Sunset

Not far off the same viewpoint as the previous post, and on the same day, but about 9 hours later. It wasn’t the most colourful of sunsets, but the earlier low cloud had burned off, allowing the sun to add enough colour to completely change the look of the image.

If you’re on the beach at Burnham after dark – I suggest a torch and a little local knowledge are essential – the sand and mud hereabouts can be treacherous, the tide can come in faster than you think, and you do not want to get caught out.
