Fly Agaric

On a Sunday morning walk in the South Downs, you could hardly miss this colourful specimen amongst the heathers and ferns of the downland. Fly Agaric, aka Amanita Muscaria, is poisonous, and is also hallucinogenic. The bright red colour should server as sufficient warning to leave well alone.

My sympathies to those of you who find yourself humming “Badger, badger, badger, badger…”
