Not known for it’s cattle, Worcestershire does have it’s fair share of unusual breeds. There’s a cattle conservation area in the fields surrounding the ruins of Bordesley Abbey. So it came about that, as I was standing in a muddy field in the early daylight hours, I was joined by a herd of rather large, hairy beasts, with enormous horns. They seemed unconcerned by a photographer in their midst, so I just went about my business. A fox also wandered past, it too, completely untroubled by my presence. I guess if you’ve seen one Nikon, you’ve seem them all.
