There are a few of these stone route indicators dotted around the Malvern Hills. If you keep to the tops then route finding is relatively straightforward, but there are many footpaths that take a more circuitous route. On a day like today, route finding is no burden, but these certainly help when the cloud appears and visibility drops.
The hills themselves stretch northwards – British Camp nearest on the left, then Hertfordshire Beacon, and Worcestershire Beacon furthest away. My route took me over all of them – tiring but enjoyable.
