Purton Revisited X

Purton Revisited X

Little remains of a number of the wrecks, other than a few bits of rusty metal, the barest bones of a once vibrant barge, the wooden parts long rotted away in the damp of the Severn Estuary.

Well after dark, and you have to take care when you are photographing these objects – rusty mails and other sharp parts are traps for the unwary. A head torch is recommended if you ever want to do night time photography – it’s an absolutely essential piece of kit.
