Malvern Hill Morning
It’s nearly an hour before dawn, and, carrying my camera gear, I’ve trekked up to the iron age hill fort at British Camp, in the southern part of the Malvern Hills. It’s dark, it’s cold, and there’s a brisk, cold wind blowing from the north east. I’m enjoying every minute. The serrated outline of the Malvern Hills march towards the north, whilst the Vale of Evesham stretches out to the east.
I find it difficult to explain how peaceful and relaxing it is, standing on top of a hill, waiting for the sun to rise.
I went HDR on this, a three image set, as I wanted to capture some detail of the landscape, but most of all I wanted the rich colours in the sky as the sun approached the horizon.
