Mid morning is not my usual time of day for taking images, as the light is too harsh, but I liked the view. As you wander along Bamford Edge, you come across this fine view of Ladybower Reservoir. Ashopton Bridge is prominent in the centre – the village of Ashopton, drowned when the reservior was built, is under the water just by the bridge.
We met another photographer up there, who had set off from Warwick in the wee early hours of the morning to be up there for sunrise. We talked about the light (as you do) and shared locations.
