If you’re in the Peak District, get yourself up onto the east facing millstone grit edges around sunset. As a landscape photographer, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
This unusual rock outcrop gives you an idea of how the wind and rain has eroded the millstone grit. A few hundred yards north of here, along the edge, the sharp eyed can pick out a couple of half finished millstones, still in place high on the edge.
And once you’ve taken your pictures, you can retreat to the nearby Yorkshire Bridge Inn, for a fine meal and a cracking pint!
