Evening Light

Evening Light

After a dull day, the skies began to clear around sunset, and there was the promise of some decent light, so I headed off to the lake to get a few shots in.

I can only describe this as ‘oil painting light’  – subdued and pale – reminding me of some of the old landscape paintings I see when I wander around some of the fine stately homes.

Photography stuff: 22mm wide angle lens, 1/250 sec at f/4.0, lee 0.9 ND grad filter, handheld.
