A 10 stop neutral density filter allows you to do a little experimenting during the day. Bordesley Abbey is again open to the public, so I took the opportunity to head down and see what images I could get. It was just the right kind of day for long exposure, with plenty of fast moving clouds to give the sky a little life.

Photography stuff: 18-70mm lens at 18mm, 57 seconds at f/22, 3 stop graduated ND filter to hold back the sky, 10 stop ND filter, tripod, converted to mono in Lightroom.
