As a trained geologist, I’m used to classifying all kinds of rock (and I usually do it without thinking these days, as I walk in the moors and mountains), but I had never before seen a rock with a smile before. Still, there’s a lovely view from here so, why not?
The light was poor and fading at this point – I’d been up here earlier in the day but the light was in the wrong direction to spot the smile on the rock. I’m glad I came back.
