Cheddar Evening

© Gerard Tohill 2015

Taken late afternoon, from the cliffs above Cheddar Gorge, with the town of Cheddar (that of the cheese fame) in the distance and the reservoir beyond.

The lump in the distance in the middle of the photograph is Brent Knoll, site of an iron age hill fort and fantastic viewpoint. It’s about 8 miles away from this viewpoint

Photography stuff: 12-24mm lens at 12mm, 1/30 sec at f/13, two stop hard graduated ND filter to hold back the sky, tripod, remote release.
