Nash Point Lighthouse

Just east of Nash Point is the lighthouse, built in the 1800’s after many lives were lost when a ship sank in poor weather.

It was a little bit windy on top of the cliffs, but not enough to make a 15 second exposure unreasonable. There’s a fine walk along the cliffs past the lighthouse – definitely to be visited when the weather is better.

I was hoping to get some nice sunrise images, but the weather did not co-operate. Never mind – another time.

Photography stuff: 18-70mm lens at 18mm, 15 seconds at f/6.3, two stop ND filter, three stop hard graduated ND filter to hold back the sky, tripod.
