This is the landing stage at Keswick, taken as a big storm had almost blown itself out. The day before had been very windy and wet. The day after I took this photo was a fine day, which I took full advantage of by doing the Coledale round.
Causey Pike is on the right, with the unmistakable outline of Catbells just left of centre, and Maiden Moor to the left of Catbells.
If you’re ever in Keswick, then head down to the landing stage as the sun is setting – you may get some nice light and there’s always something to photograph.
Photography stuff: Nothing special – 18-50mm lens at 31mm, 1/125 sec at f/11, handheld, edited and cropped in Lightroom.
