Ripples

Not quite the sunrise I was hoping for, but there was enough detail in the sky to balance the image out.

I now carry around, in my rucksack, one of those little tabletop tripods, in order to get exactly the sort of view you see here, only a few inches off the ground. Very easy to set up – much quicker than getting out the ‘big’ tripod and messing around with the legs and centre column.

Instantly recognisable as the beach at Burnham-on-Sea, taken just before sunrise, and with a little rain in the air.
