Beach Long Exposure

The tide comes in deceptively fast at Burnham on Sea. I found myself setting up my tripod for an image on the edge of the water and, by the time I’d taken the image my tripod was already in the water. Good fun – but you need to keep a watchful eye out.

A long exposure photograph gives a lovely calming effect to the final image – something that I hope comes across as very restful.

Photography stuff: 18-70mm lens at 18mm, 30 seconds at f/8.8, tripod, 10 stop ND filter.
