Spot the Photographer

© Gerard Tohill 2016

There’s no prize for this competition, just the satisfaction in spotting a fellow photographer!

Some decent dawn light at Broadway Tower, where I bumped into Alex who had the same idea as I did – get up early to catch the light.

A difficult one to expose for, as I was pointing towards the sun, with this side of the tower in darkness, with a very bright sky behind. A few bracketed exposures was the order of the day.

Edit: How very rude of me. The photographer in question is Alex Clark, and he has some good stuff on Flickr – go take a look.

Photography stuff: 12-24mm lens at 12mm, 1/20 sec at f/16, tripod, 2 stop hard graduated ND filter and 2 stop soft graduated ND filter in an attempt to hold back the sky.
