On a fine sunny Sunday morning, the surface of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal is like a mirror, giving reflections all over the place. It’s early enough that the holidaymakers have not yet stirred, and none of the boats have set off down the locks to Worcester, or through the tunnel to Birmingham, disturbing the stillness of the waters.

I must get out here even earlier – I’m sure there is a great photo with the morning light.
